Dr. Amar Safdar, MD

My mom has been a patient of Dr. Safdar for the past two years. Dr. Safdar is very knowledgeable, polite and communicates well with both patient and patient's family. Omar is also very polite, courteous and shows real concern for the patient/patient's family. They both make you feel comfortable. I truly recommend Dr. Safdar and his staff to anyone who needs this type of care.

There is lots of good things about this doctor. The most important factor was that he really seemed interested and concerned about my condition. He went over the things that was found in my blood and informed me on the plan that would follow to treat m condition. He is one of the best doctors that i've seen here in El Paso. His staff ( or should I say his only employee) was wonderful. He made us feel like if we were part of his family by the way he treated us. I will never forget him and how he treated everyone in that office. God bless that young man.

My husband was very sick when Dr. Safdar began treating him. Dr. Safdar treated my husband with genuine concern and kindness during a frightening time for us. He has great communication skills and is very knowledgeable in his field. We are grateful to have had him on our medical team while my husband was hospitalized. Office visits have been great as well. We are treated with the same kindness and concern. We truly appreciate everything Dr. Safdar did for my husband.

Really good doctor he actually took his time on informing my mother and I of her condition. He took his time to examine my mother and he smelled really good and dresses like a stud. His MA was one of the best MA's that my mother and I have had to deal with. He was extremely nice and he even ran to the hospital to get a wheel chair for my mother to take her to get blood drawn. He needs a RAISE!! I definitely would recommend this office to others.

I was in and out within 20 minutes. The staff was wonderful, especially their front desk person Omar. He really loves his job and treats everyone with the outmost respect .

I became Dr. Safdar's first patient when he had just arrived at Langone in the summer of 2011. I had been under the treatment of another NYU doctor who did not help me. He knew all about my disease as he had worked on it at Memorial. When I told him what medications the prior doctor wanted me to take, he said they would not help me..."don't take them" he advised. ..I've been under Dr. Safdar's wing ever since. I trust him and his wealth of knowledge. I think he is a genius as he knows the answers to everything. He's so nice, so kind, so easy to talk to. When I see him I feel as though I'm the only one that counts. He's a thoughtful, quiet, well-educated man. Dr. Amar Safdar is a born doctor and healer!
