Amar Vedamurthy, MD, FACP

Dr. Amar Vedamurthy is a gastroenterologist who specializes in diagnosing and treating conditions of the digestive system. He completed his medical training with a residency at Mount Auburn Hospital/Harvard Medical School in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and earned a Master of Science in Clinical Investigation from Boston University in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Vedamurthy pursued advanced fellowship training in gastroenterology at the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona, followed by specialized fellowship training in advanced endoscopy at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health in Seattle, Washington. He is board-certified as a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP) and speaks both English and Tamil.

Dr. Vedamurthy practices at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, Washington, and maintains affiliations with Mount Auburn Hospital, Virginia Mason Medical Center, and Saint Anne Hospital.
