Dr. Amara Ashjian Lieberman, MD

Dr. Lieberman is an excellent dermatologist who goes above and beyond. I am not sure why some people, seemingly women, complain about standing naked for an annual full body scan or complaining that their next appointment isn't for a year. That's what these appointments are! Have they never had an annual full body scan? She was very nice to me and even removed something that she noticed was unconsciously bothering me.

Dr Lieberman was my Dermatologist for close to 15 years in Bala Cynwyd PA. Dr Lieberman is a talented smart doctor who is spot on accurate. Consider yourself very lucky to have her as your doctor. I miss her!

I saw Dr. Lieberman a while ago only once and would never, ever return. She never greeted me, did not introduced herself. Never conversed with me or asked me about my history. I saw her for a body check to remove 2 skin lesions which she did. She had no people skills and only communicated with her computer, with her back towards me. She had an assistant in the room who had me remove all my clothes and she never gave me a gown. I am a female but was embarrassed and uncomfortable standing there the entire time with no clothes on.

Saw this doctor about 6 months ago. This was the first time I ever had a full body check. I do not understand why I had to stand there completely undressed the whole time. I felt humiliated. Doctor also did not communicate with me--only with her computer for documenting my visit. She told me to return in a year. Why would I ever go back when she showed no recognition for me as a human being.

Don't know where most of you were but we consider ourselves extremely lucky to have found Dr. Amara Lieberman....extremely knowledgeable, personable, outgoing and thorough.....and NO, we did not have to strip naked (?!), a gown was provided and she left the room while we changed. We applaud the fact that both Drs. Dahl and Lieberman dictate their observations to an assistant while conducting the examination.....actually think it is a brilliant move and wish all doctors did the same. Can't recommend these two doctors any higher - there aren't enough stars!

I arrived early for my appointment and after completing the paperwork she took me right away. I undressed and had a gown on. She went over my body with the nurse present to take notes. Very professional. The last doctor I went to did not even examine me all over. Dr Lieberman checked my arms, legs, feet, back, even my head, etc. very thorough.

I am a female and went to Dr. Lieberman for the first time. Both she and another person (medical assistant?) entered the room. I was asked to remove all of my clothes and stand up with no coverup given to me. Had to remove my clothes in front of them. The doctor gave me a full body exam-while I was standing there totally naked. She entered information on her laptop--before & after exam while I stood there nude. It was very uncomfortable and embarrassing for me. Added to this was the fact that she barely spoke to me and did not treat me on a personal level. To her, I was only a body and NOT a person.

This was my first visit. Dr. Lieberman came into room, never said hello, never introduce herself, did not ask any questions. I showed her a sebaceous cyst that she said to leave alone, although I said it caused pain and was irritated. When she did a full body check, I stood there completely nude for entire time. I was very uncomfortable. She said to come back in a year. Never said anything else to me. She rushed out of room! I might as well have been a cadaver.She had NO social skills!

Very efficient and courteous staff. Dr. Lieberman is knowledgeable, professional and makes patients feel at ease. Would highly recommend.

Just completely disinterested. New patient and never even asked about my skin's history. I thought I could finally get some help with my skin but I basically wasted my time and I am making another appointment with a new dermatologist just so I can get a better understanding of what is going on. Even asked me weird questions without explaining the reason as to why she needed to know. Made me feel uncomfortable.
