I came to Dr. Cohn after 3 years of trying to "manage" my prolapse with physical therapy. I was terrified to get surgery because of everything I had read about hysterectomies and feared that surgery had the potential to cause irreversible damage. I can happily say that now, 4 months after my surgery, I feel like my preprolapse self!! I have my confidence back and don't spend my days worried about making things worse with normal daily activities! Dr. Cohn was SO professional and patient with me the whole time. I would HIGHLY recommend her! I am SO thankful I went through it and only wish I had sooner!

I saw Dr. Cohn throughout my entire second pregnancy and it was the best experience!! She is very efficient and took care of all my questions and concerns. I had the best delivery I could ask for and she was great! Definitely recommend her.

I had an Emergency C-section in 2014. She was great I wanted to try a VBAC but during an ultra-sound around 37 weeks to make sure I could have one, she found my baby was not growing properly. We think it had something to do with my placenta not working?Anyways she did the C-section that same day. Thank God my baby was fine. But I'm so impressed she caught that and took action quickly. Its very rare for something like that to happen late in pregnancy and usually turns out fatal or lead to death of the baby. She didn't let that happen. Great doctor!!

Dr. Cohn was literally a lifesaver. I attempted a VBAC with the midwives (who are also great), and another OBGYN as my emergency backup. The other OB okayed my VBAC, okayed having my water broken, okayed having me put on Pitocin and continually increasing the dosage to the maximum, assured me she would be by to check on me during the process and never once did. I ended up with an emergency c-section because my labor failed to progress and I developed a fever. My OB still didn't show up. Dr. Cohn was on site and performed my c-section. She discovered that I had a uterine window (technically considered an incomplete rupture) which could have ended up in a uterine rupture if I hadn't had the cesarian. I followed up with her after my surgery and she assured me that I would be okay having more kids as long as I have a planned c-section at 37 weeks. I'm just going to go to her from the beginning if there is a next time!

I adored Dr. Cohn through our pregnancy. She allowed me to feel as if I had an active role in creating the birth plan that was just right for our family. She fostered a relationship that offered me guidance and confidence--I couldn't have asked for a better doctor.

Honestly, having a baby should be the most exciting time and you should be able to look back at your experience with your Dr. with fond memories. Dr. Cohn is so sweet and kind and I thought she was great during the pregnancy, however after you deliver she is not as good at taking things seriously or having time for you. I felt she kind of 'wrote off' my pain and kept giving me antibiotics for possible infections that I didn't have. Also, after I delivered I would call the office with questions, and the triage nurse would make sure and tell me how busy they were before she scheduled me which is ridiculous. If you pay $5500 (which is what they charge for a c-section) you have more than bought time with your doctor. I strongly urge anyone in Wyoming to go to another state to have a baby if previous c-section. VBAC's are not allowed in Wyoming. Also, the only hospital which she can deliver at is SCARY! Before I was taken to the c-section room for an emergency c-section, I heard one… of the nurses ask another if they had been in the c-section room because it had not been cleaned. During the c-section, Dr. Cohn kept having to send people to other floors to get items that were needed. Dr. Cohn 'forgot' to save the cord for our cord kit, she did remember the cord blood though because I made a big deal about it. During the hospital stay, the nurses talked about their personal problems, inappropriate topics, and in general seemed to be too pre-occupied to provide good care. Also, I was told I was taking too many pain meds, when I was in uncontrollable pain and screaming and crying. It's also outdated. I just want to be honest :)
