Dr. Amber D Bloom

Amber Bloom is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has 11 years of experience. She is passionate about helping children, teens, and adults address their unique challenges and create a more fulfilling life. Amber specializes in working with the LGBTQ2SIA+ community as well as with issues related to trauma, neurodivergence, depression, anxiety, parenting, and relationship issues. Amber completed her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Indiana Wesleyan University. She is currently working on her Doctorate in Counseling and Counselor Education at Texas Christian University. As a queer-identified woman who grew up in an unsupportive environment, Amber understands the pain and joy that can come from embracing who you truly are. Amber uses a combination of treatment approaches, including narrative, intersectional feminist, cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and solution-focused therapy.
