Dr. Amber Marie Pena, MD

Terrible, rude bedside manner. Doesn’t listen to patient. Says things that don’t make sense. Gives impression she doesn’t care about patients at all.

Family members are encouraged to be informed, involved in the patient's care and overall educated on what's going on with the patient. My sister and I asked Dr. Pena details about our father's condition and her responses towards us were inconsiderate, condescending, lacked compassion and overall demeaning to the point where she made us extremely upset. This person shouldn't be practicing medicine if she is unable to communicate with family in a compassionate and caring way! If you get her, please do yourself a favor and ask for another physician.

Dr Pena is very rude to family members, she talks at people rather than to people, she will not listen to family members regarding the treatment, if you happen to have her as the attending physician...ASK FOR ANOTHER DOCTOR, we will not be going back to that hospital due to her.

Dr Pena really listens to you and help you to overcome your illness. When you see her for the first time at the ICU department you can tell that you are in good hands. She is very knowledgeable and passionate about her patients. She is Very caring and you can trust her.

I really did not appreciate the bedside manner exhibited by Dr. Pena. She is very stubborn and rude. As a wife of a Dr. this is clearly an unethical behavior during the Dr.-patient relationship. I do not recommend this Dr.
