Dr. Amber Somerville

Amber Somerville is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Michigan with over 15 years in the social work field and 4 years in clinical counseling. She specializes in coping skills, depression, self-esteem, and anxiety. Amber completed her Bachelor of Science in Counseling Psychology from Rochester College and received her Master of Arts in Counseling from Spring Arbor University. She maintains a person-centered, strength-based approach founded in evidence-based practices such as motivational interviewing. She encourages a collaborative process while being creative and flexible with interventions depending on the unique needs of each individual.
