Great doctor, always takes the time to listen and orders appropriate tests !

i feel the need to express myself on the quality of service mr ameer shams provided I was sent to him by the hospital after surgery I am 56 years old ihave worked 2 jobs for 28 years 1 full time and 1 part time I am a very energetic hard working never miss work type of person I have not been to a doctor in 15 years over the last 2 years I have developed debilitating symptoms that have rendered me in pain and now some deformities yet I push my way through the day I sat with what I believe was intake nurse and went over my symptoms and family history she was having difficulty with her laptop loading she left room and in came mr ameer shams I say hello he responds with first off if your having chest pains you need to be in emergency room I told him I was not having chest pains I did however state my symptoms that I have been having for almost 2 years and he says and I quote this is to much to deal with and quote he never listened to heart lungs or looked in ears nose or throat he did… absolutely nothing my mother was a diabetic this man did not order not 1 test nothing end of visit. so for me to reference him as dr. ameer shams is an absolute joke this man is by no means a professional. please don't bill my home again I owe you absolutely nothing but I do encourage anyone else with negative quality of care to report this man to the pa state medical board which I am going to file today myself. I hope your ego feels confident enough to think of yourself as a professional because I do not linda sowash

The staff was professional, not Dr. Shams however. When he walked in to the office, I stood up to shake his hand and he totally avoided me. Also, when he walked in he had a prescription in hand....before even speaking with me. When he did finally speak, it was extremely brief and no diagnosis was performed. I had a lot of questions to ask about my condition to him but was unable to because he seemed to be in a hurry. Total visit time was less than 5 minutes, needless to say, I will be finding another doctor and never recommending him. I took a day off work to try and get my condition under control and this is how I was treated- or not treated at all. I hope this review helps ppl in making their decision on Dr. Shams easier....

Great experience! Very good doctor!

Dr. Shams talks down to his patients and speaks to women as though they are inferior. He has been let go from at least two Missouri health centers. Be very careful if he is your doctor.

Dr Shams is a poor excuse for a Doctor. I agree totally with the review saying he has no bedside manner and that he is rude. He didn't hear a word I said, he hurried me out and never treated any of my problems. My worst experience ever in a Medical Facility.

He seems to have no bedside manner. He cuts you off when you ask a question and reprimands you when you ask questions. He seemed very hesitant to do anything. He is not a people person.
