Dr. Amelia M Lane, DDS

Dr. Lane has a long history working in dentistry, as she grew up working in her father's practice in Charlestown, NH. From an early age, she knew she wanted to become a dentist and that dream came true when she graduated from the Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine in 2005. Dr. Lane started working at Chatham Dental Associates at the end of 2005 and bought the practice in 2006, renaming it Chatham Dental Health.
Dr. Lane received many awards during her dental school career and has continued to receive awards, most recently the 2009-2010 Massachusetts Dental Society's William McKenna Volunteer Hero Award. Dr. Lane has been very involved in representing Cape Cod and the Islands in the Massachusetts Dental Society (MDS) in various capacities. She served as the Cape Representative on the Council on Membership, the Committee on the New Dentist, and as the Mobile Access to Care Van Coordinator and Volunteer. Dr. Lane also completed the Leadership Institute in 2008 and was a …Guest Board Member on the Board of Trustees in 2008-09. She has also been a member of the Women's Leadership Task Force since 2007 and at the 2011 Yankee Dental Congress, she was the Chair of the Women's Conference. In the Cape Cod District Dental Society, Dr. Lane was the Chair in 2008-09 and has held various positions on the Executive Committee since 2007.
Dr. Lane is married to Steve Lane, a marine mechanic, and they live in Brewster with their black lab, Roki (pronounced "Rocky") and their twin daughters who were born in May 2010. She enjoys fishing, sailing, going to the beach, spending time with family and friends, and enjoying the thrills of motherhood. Dr. Lane loves life in our beautiful community on the Lower Cape.
