Dr. Amelia Elena Morales, MD

I was a patient of Dr Morales in 2019. I give gratitude for her everyday. At an annual exam I mentioned a seemingly small symptom to her. She ordered a two tests on the spot and fortunately the tests revealed a very early stage non small cell adenocarcinoma. Lung Cancer! I’m a never smoker and it was an “ out of the blue” diagnosis. It was caught and treated very early which is unusual for this cancer. It is 7 years later and I am doing well. Thank you Dr Morales !

Thorough, takes time with patients, very kind and cares about her patients

I've been going to this practice for 40 yrs. or more. My physicians have come and gone. Dr. Morales is now my primary care physician and I have been extremely pleased with her abilities and consideration of her patients. She does not "talk down" to you and communicates easily and never seems hurried.

She gave me 2 new diagnoses that weren't exactly accurate. I noticed one of them that made no sense to me on the way out the door and asked her to take a second look. She did correct it in my medical record before I left the office, but seemed irritated when I questioned it. The other diagnosis was left incorrect. She insisted my condition was an external type condition. I had surgery later in the year for the internal version of this particular diagnosis. The surgeon had no difficulty in identifying the internal type of problem that existed and treated it with surgery. Only saw her twice, as my previous doctor switched me to her care when he moved away. Those 2 visits with her were a waste time. I left and got another physician.
