Dr. Amer Bashir Malik, MD

I saw dr. Malik for aprox 3 years. My problem was uncontrolled diarrhea with really bad cramps. I felt like he just didn't hear me. My GPs Nurse practitioner gave me the name of a new GI doc. Within 2 months she was able to eliminate my cramps and control my diarrhea. You need to advocate for yourself. No one else can do it.

I agree with "terrible" Dr is "tests" and "tests" over two years on my son who is still in pain and no answers as to why. "ruling out" has gotten to the point of ridiculous! Your 15 minute exam time is all you get and what a disappointing experience. Find someone else to help you solve or at least treat your medical issue

Dr Malik explained everything very clearly and even drew a picture of what the procedure would entail. He is very kind, compassionate and thorough and spent time asking questions and discussing the process and the findings from the tests.

He’s a terrible doctor, ignorant and unprofessional! Do not take your family members to see him!

Dr. Malik is thoroughly competent and is attentive to his patients' concerns. He never rushes through his exams, and it is obvious that he truly cares about medicine and healing. He radiates a sense of integrity, which is so comforting. On a personal level, you will never find a more compassionate doctor.

So very caring, gentle and doesn't rush you out. Very accommodating and follows up with you after hours. Helped in time of need w/ prescription assistance through reps. Nurse practitioner in his office is wonderful as well.
