Dr. Amer Shakil, MD

I know for a fact that Amer Shakil accused parents of neglect regarding their child over a minor injury. When explained to him, he was disrespectful, rude and refused to hear (what was a minor situation). His nurse relayed to me that this was not the only time that he made up reasons to cause drama in a family's life. His "report" resulted in child protective services visiting the home. Everyone knows the looney tunes that work at cps and the combination of Shakil and their department could easily be a recipe for disaster for any family. Keep you children away from him.

Bad experience. Avoid this provider if you can. You will be better served seeing another provider in the clinic.

Very kind and compassionate physician. He has great bed side manners and will go out of his way to help patients. He is loved by his residents and staff. He speaks good english which is easy to understand. I have also noticed that he started and managed a charity clinic in Richardson where patients are seen without charge.

Would never come back and see this scumbag. Makes patients wait then lies in his jib jab and then spends two minutes with you. Must thing hes some sort of big shot...health care is patient centered, not the other way around. I will be going elsewhere.
