Dr. Ami Jayesh Amin, MD

Dr. Amin claims to be a specialist in Hashimoto Thyroiditis when in fact she is not. In Nov 2022, Dr. Amin was unwilling to do any test to ascertain why I was experiencing symptoms from the disease. She told me that I should ask my PCP to conduct all test; that she would only do the basic, TSH, T4 and T3 thyroid test. When I explained that the symptoms where making everyday life task near impossible, she told me that I should have my PCP test for an autoimmune disease. I said, I did and I have Hashimoto Thyroiditis, that is why I am in search of an endocrinologist that can help determine why I am so sick. She said that she was not willing to do such, this was outside the prevue of job and skill set. She said that she would refund my $50 copay, since she was not willing or able to help me, but she never did.
