Dr. Ami Shantanu Kulkarni, DO

I was a patient of Dr. Kukkarni until she left Lutheran Hospital. I don't know what happened but I received no notice that she had left the practice. I called to make an appointment on a Monday and was told her last day was Friday. Maybe there were circumstances beyond her control.

Dr. Kulkarni is extremely thorough, compassionate, competent; a doctor who will take on the hard cases and makes sure you get connected and taken care of by any specialist you need, whether it eg pain management local or to the Cleveland Clinic, she cares and determined. She won't give up, especially with hard cases. I recommend her 100%. Dr. Ami Kulkarni is worth the drive.

I love Dr Ami Kulkarni but office needs more work. No matter when you call you never get actual person to answer the phone EVER!! I have been her patient for a very long time and not once has an actual person answered the phone. I noticed I'm not the only person who has written about it.

I love Dr Kulkarni and have been a patient of hers for years. I gave her a 5 star rating as I did not want this to reflect badly on her. Her office would get a VERY POOR rating. Dealing with her office is absolutely the worst of any medical or dentist office that I have ever been to. This is not anything new, it has been this way for YEARS! I have really considered going to Parkview but have stayed only because I hate to leave Dr. Kulkarni. Her office is almost impossible to get a hold of. I literally waited 2.5 hours on the phone the last time I needed to speak with them. Then they were supposed to call me back and did not, so I had to try and reach them again. Unbelievable! Again this is nothing new, has been this way for years!

I have just become a patient of Dr. Ami Kulkarni and I am so glad that I chose her to be my family physician. She did order some bloodwork and testing For some different things. The whole staff at her office is very very pleasant. She was very pleasant.

First time I was really disappointed Had to wait 45 minutes and then 35 to get paperwork after appointment was done. She was rushed, talked too fast , did not explain lab results so I could understand. Real short physical exam. Felt she wanted me out so someone else could come in. The room was a mess!!!

She Investigates underlying conditions that will explain the cause of symptoms instead and treating assumed ailment. I respect her approach.

Dr Kulkarni is an excellent physician. I have been her patient for four years. She diagnosed two conditions that had gone previously undiagnosed by another physician.
