Dr. Patel was thoughtful, clearly prepared, familiar with my health history, organized in her thoughts and approach, accessible in her explanation, and possesses the short-term and long-term view on how to proceed. As well as kind and open to questions. She was everything the practice I am leaving is NOT, where the care descended into automated widgets by interchangeable providers -- a failed effort to treat humans as a factory business. It was so refreshing to encounter a knowledgeable, caring, accessible, informed physician with the space to map out patient care coupled with attention and curiosity to potential underlying health issues. Dr. Patel was recommended to me by another physician and was an absolute unicorn. I hope that VHC supports her work and encourages other doctors in her style. I will sing her praises from the rooftop.

Dr Patel is an excellent, kind and informative medical care provider. I feel very lucky to have her as my gastroenterologist! I have a complicated health situation and greatly appreciate that she explains thoroughly why she recommends doing certain screenings and the treatment we would follow based on the results. She also shows compassion for the high level of medical appointments I have and is flexible about when I need to schedule visits with her or do screenings. Also I am grateful that she has helped me address my concerns about traveling and about how I can handle things if a health problem came up while I am away from home
