Dr. Amimul Ahsan Choudhury, MD

Dr. Choudhury was my sons pediatrician and my son is now 30. I loved this doctor as he took great care of my child every time we visited his facility. My son loved him to and to this day speaks of him as a memory of his child hood. He has a funny disposition with his patients and makes children and their parents feel quite comfortable with his exams and diagnosis. I’m glad I found him for my child’s doctor!

The pediatricians are great.. The staff on the other hand is very unprofessional and rude.. They gossip about other patients to patients. They talk down to you and don't follow through when returning a phone call. Its like you have to keep on them to do there job. I personally think the Dr. Let them get away with it. It's very annoying.

I first met Dr. Choudhury about 17 years ago (when he first came to Monroe). My son who was around 2 at the time, had previously been seen by Dr. Zafar, who Dr. Choudhury was replacing. I was 22 years old and didn't know much about sick kids. It was Sunday afternoon, and my son was lethargic and had a high fever. I wasn't sure if I should wait till Monday to go to the doctor or taking him to the ER. I called the doctor's office, thinking I would get the answering service, and the doctor would call me back telling me where to take him. Dr. Choudhury actually answered the phone since he was in the office setting things up! I told him what was going on, and he had me bring my son in to see him right then! On Sunday afternoon, to his closed office! Ever since then, he has given all three of my kids great attention and care. He takes things very seriously, yet has a great bedside manner with the kids. And my kids have been atrocious through the years when it came time for shots. … He is simply the best! He has two female doctors working with him now. They are fine too. Accurate diagnosis, proper follow up. No complaints, but they aren't as awesome as Dr. Choudhury!

Both of my children were very sick and I called to get an appointment (which both had been there before) but since I have been taking them to the health department instead of there they actually hung up with me and had to "check with the doctor" to see if they can be seen. Unbelievable...I have Blue Cross so it is not like I had no insurance. The staff that I talked to (three different ones) were all rude and talked to me like a two year old. I then called a different ped. and they got me right in with a great attitude and the wait time was only 15 minutes. I would never recommend this ped. to anyone. Turn away a sick child how dare you!

He is the best pediatrician in Monroe! We are lucky to have him take care of not only our children but now our grandchildren too!

THIS IS THE COOLEST DOCTOR EVER. OMGGGG. HE IS SOOO COOL. LIKE SERIOUSLY, THE BESSSSSTTT DOCTOR EVER.
