Dr. Amina Zahra Ali, MD

I wish I could give her ZERO stars! I was 24, alone, afraid and unsure. My mother who I was VERY close to had just died, and I was 100 % capable of making my own decisions yet illegally interned in the ward @ Fulton Ave. Dr. Ali (if you want to call her that) and her team are the most incompetent and devoid of bedside manner people I've ever come across even 6 years later. She looked at me right in the face and said ''I have all these people I need to tend to, I CANNOT sit here and talk to you personally, I do my rounds and check in on everyone and that's it'' I asked her, ''How are you supposed to access if someone is better, should be released etc, if you dont actually talk to your patients? At what point from when you said you wanted to be a psych until now, some 10 years at least in between did little Amina lose her compassion and passion for her chosen field'' and she rolled her eyes and screamed ''I DONT HAVE TIME FOR THIS'', Honestly, she should just be fired.''
