Dr. Amir Nasr Helali, MD

Incredibly rude and could hear him complaining about me to the nurse before he even opened the door. This man is unprofessional, hot headed, terrible temper, and does not listen to his patients. He belittled and talked down to my little sister for requesting a referral to something that has been bothering her for years. He said she is young and doesn’t know anything especially what is good for her….. NEVER see this man, avoid him at all cost unless you’re willing to waste your time and money and not even have anything accomplished. He genuinely seems like he hates his job, patients, coworkers and life over all.

One word that best describes Amir Helali: FLIPPANT I don’t think he likes his job or people. In the wrong profession.

I saw this dr during one of the worst UC flare ups of my life. I was physically and mentally in a terrible place due to my illness. This man was not only incredibly rude and annoyed by my mental state ( I was crying because it took forever to get to see a dr and I felt overwhelmed)but he joked about my UC. After describing my commute to and from work he said, “ I would develop UC too if I were in that type of traffic.” I am not offended easily but this man has none of the warmth I imagine drs having. I’m angry with myself for not speaking out at the moment. This man is an awful human and I hope nobody else has this experience. Avoid him at all costs.
