Dr Heydari is my favorite doctor of all time. He has done two bariatric surgeries for me and I probably need a third. I wish he didn’t move to Colorado. He is the only bariatric surgeon I truly trust

Dr. Amir Heydari was very concerned for my comfort and nerves during my appointment to have the tube protruding from my abdomen removed. The long "tail" was taped to my body and for many weeks had served as a drain for fluids that might have built up. He calmly but seriously prepared me for the moment he would pull it out by saying the removal would be painful, but not for long. It would be very quick. I braced myself, closed my eyes, but opened my eyes before he pulled. I saw HIS eyes were tightly closed, he was wincing a bit and with his whole body, began leaning back, grasping the rather hefty tube with both hands. I thought, my heavens, this is really going to hurt if the doctor is leaning back like that! Then, the sound of a cork popping out of a champaign bottle punctuated the tense silence. I giggled. He looked at me in disbelief! Wiping his brow he announced, "I think that hurt me more that it hurt you!" Dr. Heydari is indeed a very special doctor. He really thinks of… not only the health of his patients, but their worries, their fears, their comfort. He treated me as if we would go through everything together, that we were BOTH getting rid of that fat tube. He shares your ordeals -- and I swear, he takes on more than his share of the burden. Goes above and beyond for you

Dr. Heydari listened when I said I had problems with my lap band I had put in by another surgeon. He took the time to talk to me and hear about the issues I was having. He removed my band - which had slipped and caused some atrophy to my esophagus and converted to Gastric Bypass. 3 weeks after my bypass - I needed to have my gall bladder removed. When the nurse tells you he removed her gall bladder and the anesthesiologist tells you that he trusted Dr. Heydari with his mother's surgery, you know you're in good, capable hands! I couldn't be happier with this doctor and his staff!

Dr Heydari and ALL of his staff are exceptional. I count my blessings I chose these fine professionals to help me conquer a life long weight problem. The follow up care along with their support group is the best way to continue to succeed!

he is worth the wait even though i never have had to wait more than a couple of minutes for him. He will spend as much time as you need.
