Dr. Amir Hossain Shahlaee, MD

Worst doctor I have ever had, belittled me and made me feel like I had no idea what was going on. Joked about how some people fake allergies and talked loudly about how he didn't trust my opinion right outside of my door. I left in tears! Will not come again.

From day one, Dr. Shahlaee has always been very kind and compassionate when caring for my son. His bedside manner and concern for helping and keeping my child healthy distinguish him from many other doctors. He is approachable, a good listener and does not rush through the visit. For years we had seen another specialist because our pediatrician could not control his difficult condition. However, his asthma had not been controlled until we met Dr. Shahlaee three years ago. He took the time to find out which were the right medicines for my kid. It did not happen overnight, but his exemplary concern and personal attention for patients is far beyond what I've seen in other doctors. When the asthma flares, we know exactly what to do. My son now enjoys playing sports year round and spends far less time feeling sick. His life changed. Dr. S. has given us much needed peace of mind, and we know we can always count on him. He is an excellent doctor who really cares for his patients. I… wish there were many other doctors with this wonderful approach and attitude towards medicine and his patients. He is absolutely one of a kind!

He spent most of the time commenting on how he thought we should handle a part of my daughter's medical history (something which is completely under control.) He did not listen to understand and just grabbed a couple of words out of the explanation to decided the trigger for her hives is something we know absolutely is not true. We went to find out what was causing her problem and all he did was talk down to us and tell her to take more medicine.
