Dr. Desai received his Bachelors Degree from Rutgers University where he majored in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry. He achieved his doctorate in dental medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He then furthered his dental education by completing a General Practice Residency at Hartford Hospital. He established his practice in Cheshire in August 2004.
His devotion to dentistry as an art is evident in his commitment to continuing education. He is well versed in the newest techniques and offers his patients the most up-to-date procedures to help them achieve optimal dental health.
He is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) and local dental societies. He is past president of the Meriden/Wallingford/Cheshire dental society. Additionally, he was recently listed in Connecticut magazine as one of Connecticuts Top Dentists for 2011. This honor can only be bestowed upon him by votes provided by his peers.
