Dr. Amit Dholakia/Nicole MA, pain control, finally called back after waiting for 3 days. Nicole didn’t want to hear that I left a message on Tuesday and kept saying, "how can I help you", over and over again. Nicole talked over me and when I asked and tried to explain, Nicole said I was "rude", to which I replied she was the one that was being rude and not letting me finish and was arguing with me. Finally, after a barrage of, “how can I help you's”, I told her that I cancel my appt. for May 6th at 10:30, bc of her attitude. So much for, “Personal attention given to every caller”, that is not what I received.

Dr. Dholakia is a kind, empathetic doctor who explains exactly what he wants to do to help relieve your pain and why he thinks it will help. He never seems to be in a rush. He also lets you know that there are other options to try if the initial procedure doesn’t fix the problem. Some of the procedures he does are diagnostic, so he can easily rule out certain causes of one’s pain. Have hope that this doctor will help you.

I have been a patient of Dr. Dholakia for over a year now. I feel he is very knowledgeable and does the best he can. He is a very busy doctor with many patients to see. Appointments are always on time and he gives the patient the opportunity for questions and feedback. Pain management is a very difficult field and from my experience with Dr. Dholakia, I am convinced he knows what he is doing and will give the patient his best attention.

Dr Dholakia is compassionate and takes time to explain diagnosis and treatments. Also, appointments are always right on time which is great, no waiting.

It seemed like I was a bother to him as he only spent minutes with me while he miss diagnosed my mri. I felt as he tried to down play my injury and pain

Dr fast everything at 90 mph so he can get on to the next patient or leave the office for the day most appt's were 10 minutes or less. Will only do one level at a time so he can charge more instead of injecting two levels at one appointment.
