Dr. Amit Mittal, MD

Family and friends it has been a long two months. I had surgery scheduled for September 26 that was cancelled due to a problem. Went to Sinai for preoperative services especially and the EKG was abnormal. I was told I needed a clearance from a Cardiologist. I called my PC and he recommended one. I went to a Cardiologist in Westminster that I would not take my dog to. I saw him for 5 minutes on September 19 . He said the EKG was abnormal. I questioned why? He stated that I needed to have an Echo and a nuclear stress test. He also knew I needed clearance before Sept 25. The echo was September 21 and the stress test was Sept 25. Both tests were normal. Nothing was ever explained. I have called several times for the Cardiologist to fax over the clearance They told me they would do it Tuesday, then Wednesday and after another call today Sinai finally got the clearance. I only saw this doctor once and he never called with the results. I still don't know why the EKG was abnormal. Hopeful… things will work out now. This doctor is rude and does not explain anything.
