Dr. Amit Arvind Patel, DDS

We have had the worst experience with this practice. This practice says it takes the DMO insurance, but they put you on a monthly waiting list while prioritizing all the PPO patients because they get paid more under the PPO plan. Which is fine if you only want to take PPO, but then they should not say they take DMO as it misguides the patients. My kids have been on a waitlist for 6 months now! My husband finally got an appointment and then they cancelled the cleaning because they couldn't find a hygienist! and now he has been back on the waiting list for over a month now!

My family and I have been patients of Dr. Amit A Patel for many years. He and his staff have been among the kindest, most courteous, empathetic, professional individuals we have come across. His staff is receptive, knowledgeable, and helpful in resolving scheduling or billing issues, if and when they arise; they are not hesitant to refer to you a more knowledgeable source if needed for you to get your information. Dr. Patel himself is receptive, caring, thorough in his evaluation & management, and always answers questions or concerns. He even allayed my 4-year-old's fears of a first dental visit with his calm, comforting demeanor. He is dedicated & true to his craft, recommending only necessary treatment, while never compromising on the dental care he provides,. His office is clean, modern, and the ambiance is calming and inviting. With the recent Covid-19 crises, his office measures meet and exceed CDC and ADA recommendations, and as a health professional, that is exactly what I… look for in any medical or dental practice my family and I visit. I have read some negative comments on this site about him, and in my opinion, they do not at all reflect Dr. Amit A. Patel, DDS, or his staff. I would whole-heartedly recommend Dr. Amit A Patel, DDS, and his practice, to anyone looking for high quality, dedicated dental professionals.

My Family has been going to see Dr Patel for more than 15 years, he is great with kids. And unlike other Dentists, he sits and explains everything and makes the experience easy - highly recommend Dr Patel

I have had 7 dental implants the procedure wasn't as painful as expected, I am highly satisfied with all of the dental work performed and highly recommend Dr. Patel as a qualified and extremely friendly physician.

Despite his great skills, I let him know I had a problem tooth on my lower left and he mentioned it was ok only having sharp edge, then the cap came off and he said it was broken and did an extraction. My tooth could have been saved if he had looked into my problem tooth

This doctor will only recommend the most expensive treatment plans and is very likely to overbill your insurance company. I would stay away.

Dr. Patel was GREAT! He talked to me after my cleaning. The whole office was so friendly. (:

I have always been a white knuckle patient-petrified of dentists-Until I met Dr Patel. He and his staff are amazing! They actually keep me calm and nothing ever hurts-not even the Novocain shots! Including our regular 6-month check ups, Dr Patel has made 3 crowns for me and did my daughter's veneers. Absolutely beautiful work!
