I went in hopeful, I waited 7 months for a cardiology appointment after being dismissed during several ER visits at the hospital he works out of with symptoms that absolutely did line up with life threatening changes. But EKG's were ran and I was reassured I wasn't actively having a heart attack. I showed up to the appointment super happy to finally be listened to and was shut down and told nothing was wrong with me because of my age, and that younger women don't have heart problems. No tests ran, no answers, no empathy, was told I was a "high utilizer" or resources, and basically told that I waste everyone's time and that there is nothing wrong with my heart. No referral to someone willing to care, no reassurance no smile. This problem has impacted my ability to sleep, think, have a relationship with my family, friends, go to work, eat, it has impacted everything that makes someone human. He made me feel the worst emotionally I think anyone ever has in my life. Thats all.
