Said i needed pt.....started doing the pt and dry needling. Pain got worse. Both my husband and I called to see what we could do for the pain while going through the pt. Prescribed 14 days of a muscle relaxer. That did not work. Asked for a trigger point injection but told was he does not do them although his practice's web site states cearly that he does. Was told he was referring me out to chronic pain mgt but he did not know to whom or follow through with that referral. Office sent me a dismissal letter. Felt like he took me for a drug seeker for getting high. Was seeking pain relief in any form....that is why I went to the pain dr. I never asked for narcotics, however, i would gladly take them to get away from this back pain for a while. I guess anyone seeking pain relief is a drug seeker these days. Very cold and uncompassionate.
