Dr. Amita Rajesh Patel, MD

I have been seeing Dr Patel for the last 5 years and there has never been a time that I have not had to wait 30 mins or longer for a 10 minute visit with her. On last visit found out she is under investigation and due to that I now cannot get my normal mail order 90 days with a refill plus being seen every 5-6 months to now get a 1 month supply at local pharmacy, visit every 3 months and urine test every visit. Patients should not have to "pay" for their physicians errors.

I think Dr Patel is the best. She is very committed to her job. Those who aren't happy with her can go to East way.

She is a very rude person and didn't feel the need to take time or action on helping me with my issues. I personally think she has a racial problem as well. I think a psychiatrist should be more willing to help someone but instead with her rude attitude she makes things worse. I highly recommend not waisting your time with her as she can possibly make your life worse

She barely even saw me. Asked me two questions and then left. She was rude.

They all have no idea what they are doing. You get 15 minutes with a pretentious "MD", that cares little for her patients, to get a couple scripts written to get you out of the door. This is not the place to go if you need serious help. As a group dealing with mental health patients you would expect way more empathy from the whole lot of them. It is sad that this is the "help" the mentally ill get.

If you are looking to lay on a couch and tell your life story or vent you will be disappointed. The doctor is nice enough, direct and business like. If you want an accurate diagnosis and the medication that will give you relief this is a good doctor. She made sure we knew how to contact her quickly if needed. She helped my mother when no one else could. The staff is fine unless you are behind on paying then they are pit bulls. ( I overheard conversations.)

Well Dr. Patel maybe a seasoned professional she made me wait an hour in the nurses office and then when I finally got waited upon by the doctor I only spoke with her for 15 mins. and she gave me multiple Rx as well as I had some questions she told me to trust her there was a reason she has 22 years experience I dont see that as a reasonable answer on medication questions. However her nurse was extremely prompt and informative.

My father would still be alive today if he was not over medicated with haldol and abilify. He was dead within 4 months.beware and asked questions.

Doctor is very nice person. And they following after my visit.
