Dr. Ammar Al-Hallak, MD

In 2012 I had a major heart attack while sitting at a stoplight just a few blocks from Paragould hospital, some how I drove myself the few blocks to the ER , I don’t remember the drive, I was able to walk in the ER on my own and they got to me immediately, Dr Hallak just happened to be in the hospital that morning and did an emergency heart cath on me and the pain was immediately gone, this all took place within 5 min of my arrival to ER, Jesus took the wheel to get me to ER and Dr Hallak saved my life that day, I told Dr Hallak I felt good enough to go home but he said no sir, you’re going to Jonesboro for a bypass , I had a triple bypass and that was almost 7 years ago, and the ole heart is doing great, Thank you Dr Hallak, you are my life saver.

I have been going to this place for a good year or two now. Dr. hallak has lovely staff. I'm a younger girl and the were able to relate my symptoms to a type of tachycardia which is quite hard to diagnose. I'm now on a calcium blocker that I feel has changed a lot for me. Don't get me wrong, I'd like to be off of medicine completely but it's nice to not be having palpitation attacks. I love his staff, and I absolutely adore Dr. Nair, who works with him. I'm 19 and still going to them. I can be quite the judgmental patient to a good review from me is a good thing. :) I researched the issue they diagnosed me with after they told me what it was, (looking for peer reviewed, work cited sources) and it matched perfectly. I'm not one for trying to turn symptoms into a name, but when you have literally every little symptom, you can't really deny it.

He did not listen to me, instead every time I tried to speak to him he ignored me and tried to tell me nothing was wrong with me even though I show obvious signs internally and externally. My money is not being well spent to be told its all in my head. My grandmother was also seen by him and although she aspirated and was unconscious for two days and on a thing that breathed for her, it was apparently all in her head, too, even though everything that happened shown signs of a heart attack. I don't understand why I continued to go just to be told nothing is wrong. I normally don't use these review sites do to the fact that everyone has an off day, but it seems as if he has more off days than good days.
