Dr. Anbari graduated from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA where he excelled in his studies and received the prestigious John W. Lachman Award in Orthopaedic Surgery. He received his training in Orthopedic Surgery at Temple University Hospital. He distinguished himself in scientific research and published multiple manuscripts. He also received the first place research award from the Philadelphia Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine. Upon completion of his residency, Dr. Anbari completed a subspecialty fellowship in Sports Medicine, Shoulder Reconstruction and Cartilage Restoration at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, IL. There, he acted as an assistant team physician for the Chicago White Sox and the Chicago Bulls. He has authored over 20 book chapters and research papers on shoulder and knee arthroscopy and cartilage transplantation. Dr. Anbari has special training in the latest techniques of shoulder, hip and knee arthroscopy, ligament and tendon …reconstruction and repair, cartilage restoration and replacement. He is the team physician for the CT Sun WNBA team, Norwich Free Academy, Bacon Academy, Lyman Memorial, Ledyard High School, Montville High School, Saint Bernard School and U Conn Avery Point.

Hard to find a Dr. who is considerate and takes time to listen to patients. First Dr I saw for hip was terrible very lucky to have found Dr.Anbari

I arrived for my appointment ten minutes early to complete any paperwork and submit my copay. The drive from work was half an hour each way so I wanted to make sure I was on time. I sat in the examining room for half an hour and decided my doctor does not value my time, so I left. It's too bad because Dr. Anbari is a good doctor and surgeon. Orthopedic Partners is not respectful of my time as I was to them.

Going on two months since my total shoulder replacement. The results are amazing. Now I can do things that I could not do for years. Not only is Doctor Anbari a excellent Surgeon, but also has great bed side manners, a caring demeanor, and a great sense of humor . I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for the best in his field. AC

Dr. Anbari and his PA fixed my shoulder after two failed previous rotor cuff repairs. I am back to work full time and pain free
