Dr. Ammar Wahood, MD

At 71 yrs old I have lots of pain issues: sciatica spondylosis, neuropathy, arthritis, post-surgical pain, and on it goes. Having taken very serious meds for many years, it has been a blessing to find a doctor who can relieve this pain without the pills to which I had become addicted and had to experience horrible withdrawal. Dr. Wahood's manner is tender, caring, genuine, and he is as smart as a whip on top of all that. Great nursing staff as well.

I'm severely overweight from meds from 2 other doctors and Dr. Wahood understands the situation & is very compassionate about it! So what if he's told another reviewer she needs to lose weight. Being at a better weight decreases pain & improves overall health. Would they have preferred if he lied? He's always understanding & caring in all of my appts and at my procedures. He's striving very hard to help me reduce my pain. I have 2 nerve related issues, both are systemic issues, with severe spinal & knee damage and he goes out of his way trying to help me reduce my pain.

He was rude, and didn't listen to my problems and pushed strong narcotic medications on me rather than coming up with a safer plan. No empathy. Please stay away.
