My experience with Doctor started in the emergency room. I didn't have a general practitioner i was not receiving proper attention for my broken ribs. He was seeing a family member and agreed to check on me. He diagnosed internal bleeding and drained my lung, immediately. Several years later i had a wound which wouldnt stop bleeding. I called his office, and they called back to say he would meet me in the emergency room I was in surgery within 30 minutes. I can't praise him enough. He has a quiet and pleasant manner. He does not appear hurried and doesn't hem haw or b.s. He makes me relax and trust he will take care of me.

Dr. Told me, because I did not act in a more expedited time frame, he saw no need for him to try anything further. This kind of Doctor I do not need. I need a Dr. to help me live well.

Due to Dr Tendulkar and associates I am enjoying my life 4 years after a new aortic valve, quad by pass, pneumothorax, and a pacemaker. Exercise over an hour 5 times a week and carry on normal activities. Extremely happy.

When I had my first visit (a pre-op) numerous unhappy patients sat in Dr. Tendulkar's office sharing stories about previous visits and his demeanor. I tried to remain positive but after his short, abrasive, visit with me, I left feeling very unsettled that he was going to be giving me major surgery. Now post surgery, I wish I had found a different surgeon. He didn't care about my pain control, he yelled at the nurses for changing leaking bandages, and had horrible bed side manner. Everyone in the hospital does not like how he treats patients and other hospital personnel. I couldn't wait to get out even if it was a couple days early.

I had a heart attack while depositing a check at the bank, six blocks from Dr. Tendulkar's office and St. Joseph's Hospital. Dr. T did a quad bypass while I was asleep. I woke up three days later and within a week left the hospital and a week or two later was able to walk a mile. Now four months down the line, I exercise two hours a day at the gym and expect to go back to teaching at the beginniing of the next quarter. I could not be happier with Dr. Tendulkar, his bedside manner, or the outcome.
