Dr. Amol Saxena, DPM

I went to see Dr Saxena based on a recommendation; but after my visit I felt compelled to write a review on him. He is extremely arrogant, ill-mannered, quite obnoxious, rude and crude. He was insisting and actually recommending to operate on my foot and then saying it may help it or it may not! It felt like he is trying to create a case for an operation that is not a source of pain, possibly won't help and claiming reimbursement from insurance. I didn’t care for his manners and wouldn’t want an arrogant jerk operating on my foot for any reason!

I'm been running marathons for the past 20 years and had my share of injuries.Three years ago, I fractured a bone in my foot which was misdiagnosed at UCSF, so I ran a marathon on it. Couldn't walk afterwards. A friend recommended Dr Saxena, who saw me immediately, diagnosed the break, and helped me heal. Since then, I've seen him several times. Although he treats world class athletes, he is very accessible, incredibly skilled and knowledgeable, and super nice. Never failed to get me back running ASAP. His staff is also very professional and nice.
