Dr. Broome never had my full record in front of her, and because of that I left her practice, after she questioned the possibility of prescribing Klonopin for my severe anxiety. I am in recovery for addiction to Xanax!!! She did not have that information in front of her! Totally unprofessional and dangerous!

She spent the time for a patient she nice a care about no many dr care she is the best

I would not recommend anyone be a patient of Amparo Benitez-Broome. I scheduled the appointment for my son who has been experiencing extreme anxiety and paranoia. Dr. Broome's office was difficult to find, as it's located in a church and were no signs indicating where to go. We found the reception area only because a groundskeeper led us to the office. The receptionist was "doing her own thing" conversing with someone else, perhaps another staff member. By the time she took our information and walked us down to Dr. Broome's "office," we were (according to Dr. Broome) 18 minutes late and she would not see us that day. If anyone is going through a mental issue, you know how hard it is to even make an appointment and seek help. This woman disregarded all of that. She did not have the decency to say hello, apologize that she would not be able to do a consult, or even look up from her computer as she spoke. My son and I left feeling even worse than when we arrived. The receptionist didn't… seem to care either. Seek another professional -- that is my advice.

When I booked an appointment with Dr. Brown I had to go to the office to make the appointment Because the office is so unprofessional and badly and run. I saw bad reviews online and I thought well maybe people are just upset. It's easy to get upset when you're not feeling well . Dr. Brown saw me for about 15 minutes I had waited 35 pair she asked me questions about very painful situations but she's a psychiatrist so she doesn't want to hear the long answer. She didn't like the psychiatrist I had been seeing .she felt I needed to go to a mental hospital and detox off the meds Dr. Frick had been prescribing . I was willing to go but Dr. Brown did not have a referral she was not familiar with any facility . So my time was up I had to leave as I was walking out dr. Broome says to me you don't have to stop at the front desk. What she has done is talk negatively aboutthe psychiatrist I was seeing and wrote on my file do you not reschedule. So I'm sitting in the car and I realize I… have no Doctor No psychiatrist no therapist. Not a referral to anyone .. That was on a Tuesday so I called back on Wednesday Thursday Friday no one ever returned my call I would call Dr. Brian I'm n I would call Dr.Broome a nightmare . Worst Doctor ever.
