Dr. Amrita Kaur

Amrita Kaur, O.D. received her Doctor of Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University, where she received Clinical Honors. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Fine Arts at Case Western Reserve University. Dr. Kaur’s experience includes internships at Associates in Ophthalmology, The Long Beach VA Hospital, Lawrenceville Vision Care, Optometric Care in Aliquippa, and a Pediatrics and Binocular Vision specialty at Salus University. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, Western Pennsylvania Optometric Society, and American Diabetic Association. She is always happy to accept new patients. In the exam room, she enjoys contact lens fittings, pediatric optometry, and surgical co-management and is particularly interested in ocular disease and pathology. Dr. Kaur became an optometrist because of her interest in art and medicine. She enjoys meeting people and hearing their stories and finds great pleasure in seeing the amazement on …patients’ faces when they try on their glasses for the first time. When she is not treating patients, Dr. Kaur enjoys painting, drawing, playing tennis, trying new tea flavors, dancing, and playing piano.
