Dr. Amrutha Pavle, MD

Provided extremely inadequate care when I was extremely ill. When I tried to give her that feedback, she was very dismissive. Her care could have resulted in a deadly scenario.

I saw Dr. Pavle for the first time last week and she was very demeaning. She did not once smile or ask me if I wanted to get bloodwork done for my annual exam. I am an educated black college student (which she doesn’t know) and she assumed I am low income. She made remarks like “if you can’t afford an ADHD eval, you can go to a mindpath clinic. That’s where a lot of low income people go.” I understand she’s foreign, but I work in a dr. office, and there’s a standard of professionalism and respect all doctors must give. Just because you hold the title “MD” doesn’t mean you can act superior to one who doesn’t hold the same professional title as you. That is ignorance. I will never see her again or recommend her to anyone. It’s sad to see healthcare professionals become so focused on money instead of helping others. Plus customer service in the lab center was also horrible. The phlebotomist was on her phone the entire time and front desk lady acted just like the doctor.
