Dr. Amsel Melka Siore, MD, FCCP

This is the sorriest place ever!!!!!! The stupid phone lines were down all week so we couldn't reach anyone. The operator just keeps saying call back during normal business hours yet it is business hours you're calling. The on call operator tells you over and over again that someone will call you in 20-30 mins. That process took place at least 5 times and no one ever called back. Then I get in the office and this idiot Dr. Siore doesn't so much as look down my throat. He told me to breathe in and out and agreed that I was wheezing because that's what I told him. He offers to call in prednisone and a Z-pack but when I get to the pharmacy he hadn't even did that. Dr. Siore spent more freaking time telling me he was from my hometown and about when he lived in Birmingham AL than doing his job. I called back later that night to see why my meds were never called in only for the same stupid cycle to start back over again with no one returning my call and this is Labor Day weekend. So the… office won't be back open until Tues!!! I even spoke to a so-called on call supervisor named Corey for the operators and he did no more than them. This place sucks!!!

I would recommend anyone with pulmonary problems to give this doctor a try.

I actually moved away and now have to drive 2.5 hours to see him and I will do it as long as he is a doctor. He spends time with you, never rushed, it is clear you are his priority and the other thing that is clear is he loves his patients. He has taken great care of me and I highly recommend him.

First visit with Dr.Amsel Siore he is very friendly, and compassionate. He took the time (no rush) to explain everything to me, and asked if I understood or had any questions. His staff was very polite and friendly. My follow up visits was the same experience, I didn't have to wait long in the waiting room, it was less than 5mins. I was called back by the nurse who was very pleasant, soft spoken. I felt at ease with him and his staff.

Dr. Siore was extremely detailed with my medical concerns and took the time to explain my options with me and my family. His staff is professional and efficient. Never waited more than five minutes for each appointment and never felt rushed with Dr. Siore. Thank you and your staff for being down to earth and making me feel at ease during a stressful time.

Worst physician I have ever encountered. Led us to believe my father had cancer when, in fact, he did not. Never once even laid a hand or even a stethoscope on my father each time we were in his office. Never explained anything about what was going on with my father. Acted like we were wasting his time. Very hands-off approach to patients. Beats around the bush when it comes to diagnosis. Even if you ask questions you might get a vague answer if you get one at all. I think there are some patients he just doesn't want to be bothered with.

As a patient for several years, I have had nothing but the finest personal and professional service from Dr. Siore. He is caring, taking all the time needed with me as a patient, is instructive, encouraging, and truthful in advising what is best for my well being. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a competent pulmonary doctor.
