Amy M Ahnert, MD

Dr. Ahnert is the best cardiologist I have ever had. She really familiarizes herself with her patients. She has helped me tremendously with my condition. I am really going to miss not having her at LVH Cedar Crest in Allentown. I am hoping to find out where she has transferred to so I can continue to see her and only her. I am so sad she left LVH.

Would give her a 0 but can’t. My father is her patient. She never calls him back. No idea how she gets reviews of 4 or 5. My father had 15 min of tachycardia that was downloaded to her 10 hours ago and She can’t be bothered to look at and call him to let him know if it was VT, sinus tachycardia or what. Plus his blood pressure dropped and he was symptomatic. A call back by the office is expected. But not even a call back from the nurse.

I changed cardiologists because my prior doctor moved away. I waited about 4 weeks for a new patient appointment because I wanted a female cardiologist. I was not having problems, so I didn't have a problem waiting. I had a good intake visit, with review of medications, appropriate tests ordered and follow up scheduled. I was called with the results of the tests. My questions for answered, my concerns addressed. I would highly recommend Dr. Ahnert.

Dr. Ahnert is extremely caring and works hard at building relationships. I find this to be unique. She takes her time and is a great educator. Her level of commitment to her patients is extraordinary.

Dr. Ahnert is very knowledgeable in the field of womens heart care. I felt extremely comfortable with her. She was very kind, took her time with me, and I could tell she really cared about me as a patient.
