Dr. Amy R. Alger, MD

I am an Army veteran and retired fed govt worker that had gall stones last year. Rather than go to the surgeon suggested by my doctor, I decided to do a search. I found an article on the great work that Dr Alger had done as a reservist in Afghanistan. She saw me twice before my surgery and made good suggestions on moving forward. She is a complete professional that has a great bedside manner and is easy to understand. She also found a small spot on my lung while I was there. This was totally unrelated to the surgery she was going to perform. She was not rushed in speaking with my daughter after the surgery and was very open to questions when she visited after my surgery. Excellent surgeon. I would give her 100 stars if possible.
