Dr. Amy Starr Aloysi, MD

Dr Aloysi is a wonderful doctor and went above and beyond to provide my 90+ year old but still lucid Mom with the attentive, individualized, respectful and comprehensive psychiatric and neurological care she needed. I don't care where her Med School was based, she was terrific and her professional co-workers, who included some of the country's top Geriatric Psychiatrists and scientists all expressed the same opinion of her!

I've known Dr. Aloysi for quite a while now: she's performed ECT on me a number of times and I also see her for acupuncture (there are a few MD's at Mt. Sinai who are trained in it), which has actually been quite helpful. She is extremely kind, though quiet when she is listening to you. As I have come to know her better, I don't think this is because she doesn't know what's up but because she is trying to really, deeply listen. I normally would care about where she went to medical school, but the fact that the now former director of ECT at Mt. Sinai, who is brilliant, trusts her enough to train her in this procedure speaks VERY highly of her, as he absolutely would not hire an idiot.

Educated at St. George "University" in GRENADA!! That school is an international laughing stock! Don't waste your time with this unqualified,flaky so-called ''doctor".
