Dr. Amy Louise Apel, MD

Dr. Amy Apel has been my children's doctor for over 20 years. My 20 & 18 yr. old sons just recently chose a family dr. to goto, instead of a pediatrician. My 2 girls ages 8 and 11 still go there. She is an exceptional Dr. so gentle, kind, and thorough. I have recommended her to numerous parents over the years. The entire team there is wonderful, but Dr. Apel is our favorite.

Keeps sending my daughter for tests that aren't needed. The specialists keep confirming that they were not needed so this is not just my opinion. I had a 45 minute wait and I was the first appointment of the day. They allow walk-ins for sick patients at all hours so no hour is safe to avoid sickness for a well baby visit. Nurses are awful at measuring baby's length. They have you hold their head and pull as hard as they can on their feet. Length that they have measured has shrunk 2 inches in 1 week.
