Dr Baker is wonderful! Great listener and great personality.

I made an appointment with Dr. Amy Baker because I relocated and needed a doctor in Lexington. I was initially hopeful with Dr. Baker, as she seemed understanding and attentive during our consultation regarding my hormone replacement therapy (HRT). However, after receiving my lab results, I was surprised by the approach taken. Despite being within the normal reference range and successfully managing the symptoms for 2 years with the current dosage, she decided to reduce my dose significantly and asked me to seek another provider if I did not comply with her decision. She did not even offer alternatives or was open to discuss how to manage my symptoms if I reduce it, knowing that when I lower my dose my symptoms come back! The North American Menopause Society (NAMS) guidelines strongly recommend adjusting hormone therapy based on symptoms and patient response, not solely on lab values. It seems that this fundamental recommendation was not applied in my case. I felt confused, unsupported… and deceived. I do not recommend at all Dr. Baker. She does not addresses HRT in a collaborative and logical way. She does not appear to have sufficient knowledge of fundamental perimenopause and menopause management to provide optimal treatment.

This was my first visit seeing Dr. Baker and I highly recommend her. She was very kind and thoughtful and a pleasure to be around. Excellent doctor.

Even though the wait was ridiculous Mrs Amy was very nice, compassionate and eager to help. She heard my concerns and was ready to help in the best way possible.

Dr. Amy Baker has been so patient with me and helping me with finding the best HRT possible. She explains all medications in great detail and helps give me a better understanding of my diagnosis, POI. She has been wonderful over the last year with everything. I am very grateful for her.

Dr. Baker was most excellent during this exam. She answered all of my questions and everything went smoothly.
