Amy Michelle Brannon, DNP, PMHNP-BC

Amy Brannon, DNP, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner at Altitude Health. Altitude Health practices an emerging model called “interventional psychiatry,” which pairs traditional care (therapy, medication management) with procedural, innovative treatments—such as Spravato, TMS, IV ketamine, and nerve blocks—delivered in a spa-like environment focused on patient comfort and well-being. Amy collaborates with the procedural team to integrate these options when clinically appropriate.

Her clinical focus is thoughtful medication management for a broad range of mental health concerns, from common mood and anxiety disorders to more severe psychiatric illness. She evaluates and treats symptoms including grief, generalized and social anxiety, depression, sleep and appetite disturbances, low energy, poor concentration, impulsivity, anger, panic, and more complex presentations such as hallucinations, paranoia, obsessive thinking, mania, and …disruptive behavior. Amy draws on evidence-based practices and tailors care to each person’s presentation and needs.

Amy emphasizes a collaborative, client-centered approach that pairs medication management with brief psychotherapy and practical guidance on herbal remedies, nutritional supplements, and lifestyle changes that may support recovery. She partners with patients through shared decision-making to restore quality of life, improve relationships and work functioning, and help individuals reclaim enjoyment and presence in daily life.
