Dr. Amy Brewster, MD

When I learned I needed a bilateral mastectomy, four of my friends highly recommended Dr. Amy Brewster because they each had such wonderful results under her care. Dr. Brewster showed me such kindness and caring at a stressful time in my life and truly listened to my wishes and answered every question I had along the way. Because of her expertise as a surgeon, my results look wonderful and I feel pleased about every aspect of my experiences with her and her awesome staff.

I decided to get a breast augmentation, and decided to have Dr. Brewster do it. She didn't give me the size we had agreed upon, because she thought the smaller size would suit my figure better, and she hardly spent any time with my during my follow up appointments. She was rude, and worst of all I'm stuck with the size breasts, SHE decided to give me.

I was very nervous and had been putting this off for years. She and her staff put me at ease. The procedure was over in seconds (I was out for 3 hours but don't remember a thing). The recovery was a little rough, but typical for what was done, (and I am also kind of a pansy). Dr Brewster did a fantastic job. The spare tire I couldn't diet or exercise off is gone (and I tried for years). I look and feel great! I wish I had done this sooner. Dr Brewster was always very reassuring on the phone and at post-op appointments. I highly recommend Dr Brewster and this office.

Though 25 years apart, my 2 diagnoses of breast cancer and two rounds of aggressive radiation therapy left little for Dr. Brewster to work with when it came to reconstructive surgery. That said, I am pleased, not only with the result of her skilled surgical procedures, but with the level of concern and care expressed by Dr. Brewster and her entire staff..

I have referred upwards of 7 patients to Ms. Brewster and scheduled a procedure for myself, yes finally after countless referrals and recommendations to friends and colleagues, I made time to have a procedure done. I fell into a situation where I was unable to keep my surgery date and gave more then 90 days notice of which I was told 50% of my payment would be kept as to ensure that Ms. Brewsters office would be compensated for their time. I am a business owner myself and find this not only unethical but unrealistic. In one fell swoop, she lost someone who believed in her personally and therefore will never refer to her again. For her, the money was a drop in the bucket, for me I found it disgusting. Not only did she keep the money but I have been told I could not use the portion she kept to schedule anything for future. And I paid In cash :)

I had a great experience, the staff was so friendly and easy to talk to, they answered all questions that I had and made scheduling a breeze. They were always accommodating to the fact that I lived out of state and needed special appointments times. The doctor was caring and listened to my concerns and gave her advice that best fit what I wanted as an outcome. It has been two months since my surgery, I love the results and comfort of knowing that if any concerns arise I can count on any staff member to provide me with the information to set my mind at ease.

Dr. Brewster is an amazing surgeon and goes 110% above and beyond for her patients. Her office staff is organized, professional and personable! I had a double mastectomy with reconstruction and Dr. Brewster did a beautiful job making me whole again.

Dr Brewster and her staff are so good at all they do. I had been living in pain for a very long time. When I made the decision to have both breast done her staff did everything possiable to make sure my fears were set aside. Once we made this life changing decision, we also decided to change the way i looked. I had always wanted to be larger than i had been, and Dr Brewster made that happen! Prior to my surgery, I met with a number of doctors. Dr. Brewster was the only one who really listened to me. She was very open about about what I could expect, realistically. She didn't try to sell me on any other procedures (unlike the other doctors). My outcome was far beyond what I ever hoped for. Dr. Brewster is a perfectionist, who does put her patients first. And first and foremost, that means listening to what the patient wants. Too often, doctors impose their own ideas, etc. Dr. Brewster listened to me, gave me her expert opinions and advice. I could not be happier!

Our overall experience was excellent; she stayed with us during our entire visit--some doctors, at times, visit you, then say, "I'll be back in minute", and you end up sitting in the room waiting before he/she returns. Her bedside manner is refreshing--some doctors are allbusiness. I would refer her to others.
