Dr. Amy Ruth Bruner, MD

Dr Bruner was very knowledgeable, helpful and personable, but had very poor business practices. She does not deal with insurance companies, so you need to request a superbill which you submit to your insurance company which I did for my first visit after paying her in full. On the second visit I requested a superbill numerous times and did not get one which tied up the money I paid her for some time. The biggest problem was when my insurance company processed my claim for the first visit and inadvertently sent payment to her. I contacted her and her office staff numerous times, and they wouldn't refund the money to me. They said they'd contact the insurance company but never did. Basically, they had my payment in full and what the insurance paid also. It took me many phone calls and notes through the portal but no help from their end. Dr Bruner wouldn't even respond to a medical question that had nothing to do with the insurance payment mishap. They got back to me and sent the… superbill only when I threatened to contact the medical board. I finally had to go through my credit card company and was successful in disputing the charge. My medical question was never responded to so I am changing doctors. This really ranckles me as I was caught in the middle between the mistake my insurance company made and Dr Bruner's office who was less than helpful. This type of thing really shows people's true colors. Needless to say I will never go back to her again and wish to warn others about her poor business practices.

Dr. Bruner is great but the online platform, Klara, is frustrating. No response on messages I have left starting Jan 14th. Also, I received a bill on a service I paid out of pocket for on the date of service. I am beyond over not being able to speak to someone.

I have been a patient if Dr. Bruner since we moved here, and I have never met a more warm, caring physician. She has an amazing ability to empathize and make you feel heard and validated. Highly recommend her!

I <3 amy bruner. I have been her patient for 12 years. I feel like im talking to a friend. Its easy to discuss any issues ive had. She delivered my 2 kids both via csection. Never any issues or concerns. Shes awesome.

She is a fantastic doctor! However her staff is a bit flaky they re-schedule appointments without informing you(like the induction of my child) they give you other peoples results and I have been forgotten about in the waiting room on 3 occasions. But like I said shes a fantastic doctor it just seems since she opened up her own office shes become more into lazor hair removal than delivering babies.

My appt was re-scheduled twice. The third time, I took time off from work for my appt. I waited for over an hour and finally left. I will not reschedule with Dr. Bruner again.

Dr. Bruner has been my doctor for over 11 years & two pregnancies. She has an excellent bedside manner, & I have recommended her to many friends & family.

I've been a patient of Dr Bruner's for 10 years and have always been very satisfied with my experiences as a patient. I would highly recommend her to anyone.
