Dr. Amy Rose Corcoran, MD

Dr. Corcoran is a terrible person. I was referred to her for depression. Instead of improving my quality of life, she made me feel more depressed! She does not show any empathy for patients and is very cold. An employee at Northwestern told me that a lot of patients don’t end up liking her. She has a huge ego and likes to talk about herself which mental health providers are not supposed to do. I’m still recovering from the trauma she caused me. Not all psychiatrists are good at what they do! Don’t trust her.

For a psychiatrist, she is very cold and has little to no empathy. When I was in the hospital for depression, she made me feel like it was my fault that I was depressed. She and Northwestern are awful....better to be depressed than go there for treatment!!
