Dr. Amy Hyojung Coulter, MD

Did not listen to any of my concerns, zero compassion, dismissive and pompas. I went to her with pain and swelling in my legs for 5+ yrs. She told me that blue and purple legs are normal.. barley let me finish a sentence. I was interrupted and dismissed. She didn't even look at my legs. I work in a dental clinic and if a patient had came to me with a toothache.. pain and swelling..we would have taken X-rays and done a clinical exam...Standard practice of care. She did not even look at my legs and referred me back to my primary care. I have never seen a Dr. so dismissive and careless.

I dislocated my elbow and was treated at Evergreen Health by Dr. Amy H Coulter. Dr Coulter performed a bypass, oversaw my care, and stated my elbow had been reset. No postop x-rays were ordered by Dr Coulter on my elbow. After surgery I complained of pain and not being able to bend my arm. She dismissed me. I saw her 5 days postop in a visit where I again stated that my arm would not bend and that swelling and pain was severe. In the visit she didn’t examine my surgical wounds or my elbow. She refused to order an x-ray, refused to refill pain meds, and suggested I contact my doctor at Swedish. The Swedish team found that my arm was still dislocated and said it is “insane” that Evergreen sent me home without a splint. My Swedish doctors identified severe edema due to the dislocation Evergreen failed to reset. My elbow was reset a 2nd time by Swedish. Dr Coulter is incompetent, uncaring, and dangerous. She discharged me with a dislocated elbow, prolonging my recovery by several weeks.

If I can give 0 star, I would. Absolutely horrible experience with her. She bluntly ignorant with absolute arrogance. If you are looking for a doctor who care even a little bit (not even asking much care) to guide you somewhat path to healing, avoid her at all cost

I can not imagine I met such a bad doctor in US. She was impatient, mean and made conclusion even without looking at my paiful arm. Hi, Don't you know you check your patient first and then make comments? She just did not care me at all. I hate wasting 2 hours on this appiontment.

I have never meant a surgeon I trusted so much. She really put every detail in order to me and my family that was going to take place. It was in terms we all could understand. I will use her again and again if need be.

I have had 5 blood clots in my right leg, the latest because I went off my blood thinners so they could perform a knee manipulation. I recieve a scan while I was there and while I was waiting was offered a card to get a coffee wile I waited. Dr. Coutler and her staff were very helpful, Dr. Coulter listened carefully to my issues, and offered suggestions giving me the pros and cons of each. I highly reccomend Dr. Coulter

If you're looking for a doctor that's going to listen to you and show atleast an ounce of compassion this isn't the MD for you. She's pompas, demeaning and won't let you get a word in edgewis. Wouldn't recommend to anyone, a colossol waste of time.
