She continued her education at University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine and graduated with a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2002. “Dr. Amy” has spent her entire career in private practice as a general dentist.
Dr. Amy’s special interests however, are in helping children and adults that need braces to straighten their teeth. She has completed a 2 year orthodontic training program, based out of California. This very intense program is designed to match the standard of care practiced by orthodontists all over the country. The program has a proven 25 year history of successfully training general dentists all over the world. “Dr Amy” believes proper alignment of teeth is important to not only an individual’s appearance, but …more importantly to their oral hygiene, chewing habits, and overall self-esteem. Dr Amy is also trained and certified in Invisalign and Clear Correct which are clear or invisible set of trays (aligners) that are custom designed to move teeth into their desired position.
