Amy Earwood, DDS
Being a dentist is a dream come true for me. I love helping the people of Raleigh live healthier, happier lives with beautiful smiles! Most of all, I enjoy getting to know each patient individually, and providing personalized dental health plans that meet their specific needs and goals.
Education and Continuing Education
Before becoming a dentist, I completed my undergraduate work at North Carolina State University, and attended dental school at the University of North Carolina. I truly enjoy learning about dentistry, and have continued my education every year after dental school. The courses and seminars I participate in help keep our office up-to-date on technology, prevention, and new procedures.
As part of my continuing education, I have become Invisalign Certified and have also earned my Certification in Sedation Dentistry. I am active in the American Dental Association, North Carolina Dental Society and UNC Dental Alumni Association, learning …about new effective dental treatments through their meetings. I have also completed course work at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies.
Professional Dedication
I look forward to coming to work every day because dentistry is the perfect combination of art, creativity and science. I enjoy using my knowledge and experience to create a positive experience for my patients. I know that each person coming in our practice expects something different, and I love getting to know them, and exceeding their expectations for treatment.
I have been practicing dentistry since 2000, and love getting to know my patients and families personally. I see myself and our practice as part of our community, and love helping our friends and neighbors attain optimal oral health. My patients put a lot of trust in me and my abilities, and I take that responsibility very seriously. Every patient inspires me to always do my best, and continually improve my skills.
Family Life
I was born and raised in Elizabeth City, NC, and have lived in Raleigh since 2000. My wonderful husband, Aaron, and I have two daughters, Payton and Kinsley. In my spare time, I enjoy outdoor activities, travel, going to the beach, and most of all, spending time with my girls!
