Dr. Amy Branning Elliott, MD

I have been seeing Dr. Elliott for about 4 years. Prior to seeing her, I had been through many doctors who never got my health issues under control. They just kept prescribing medications, but could never figure out what was causing my pain. Dr. Elliott takes the time to listen to me and address my concerns. She keeps in contact with my other Doctors to make sure everyone is on the same page in regards to my health and my treatment. I canâ??t say enough about her professionalism and her genuine concern for me. I consider her to be one of my guardian angels.

Dr Elliott is a caring snd competent doctor. She has correctly diagnosed and treated me at every turn. Her office is one of the best always responding to questions and concerns promptly. She is concerned with my entire well being not just the management of my disease. i highly recommend Dr Elliott.

This review is long overdue and well deserved. Dr. Elliott may be one of the finest doctors I will ever encounter, and I have been to the best! Not only did she uncover one of the most difficult to diagnose and manage diseases, she did it with the care, compassion, and thoroughness I would expect of a world class doctor. She immediately picked up the slack where other doctors left off. When I had questions she either called me directly to listen to my concerns and discuss, or would email over the most complete and investigated responses, way beyond my expectations. Dr. Elliott goes above and beyond and I cannot imagine having better physician support than her. I wish all doctors were of the same caliber with regards to the principles and standard of care that Dr. Elliott provides.

This doctor made decisions that worsened my health I became very sick under her care. She also does not respect doctor patient confidentiality and has a swearing and gossiping problem. She would downtalk some of my favorite doctors her coworkers and she didn't follow privacy practices. Do you want your protected health information texted to someone? How about her calling other doctors without your consent. She does all of those things. These positive reviews really confuse me because she treated me and my other doctors so badly.

I have struggled with this doctor though reading the many positive reviews I can see where others may have a good experience. I think if your a patient who is more complicated you will encounter an arrogance like one of the other reviewers mentioned. The thing that is difficult for me is I do not feel like my own voice is heard. She will tell me I should take a medication and when I clearly say I am uncomftable with it the plan does not change and I am left without alternative options. If you are a patient who is okay with a doctor choosing things for you and you do not have an opinion on treatment options or concerns than I can see where Dr. Elliott would be an good doctor. If you want to have a voice in your own care in my experience you may find that Dr. Elliott is unwilling to change her plan to listen to your concerns or feeling about treatment options.

Go see her!! She is simply fantastic. I wish all doctors were this thorough and professional. She really cares.
