Dr. Amy Louise Fothergill, MD

I have been a patient, of Dr. Fothergill's, for almost *five* years. Quite simply, she is, by far, the *best* PCP i have ever had -- it's *not* even close ... I have found Dr. Fothergill to be *fully* open, to my ideas and input, re the/my course of treatment. I absolutely *cannot* recommend her highly enough -- she is *that* good! Michael K. I am fairly young and a big believer in preventative care. As such I thought I should find a physician to see regularly. I felt completely uncared for as I am "young' and "healthy" , even though I had explained I had been though some big life changes that past year. Didn't care to get to know me. Just took my blood pressure and made me take an unnecessary pregnancy test. Clearly not the doctor for me.

My first visit with her, she stopped 2 meds I have been on for years that were really helping me. Then she changes another med from 90 day refill to 30 day refills. She would not listen to my points or reasoning. She simply has her cookie cutter beliefs that apply to all patients and that's that. She doesn't listen. The 30 day refills are a hassle and cost more money. Why is there no respect for my former doctor's diagnoses?

Was prescribed a clindamycin topical gel for few facial acne. & now its been 4 days now and my face is in the worst condition I cud have ever imagined. A big swollen, red, itchy and horrible looks is what I m left with now.
